UV treatment of water

Les  UV (ultra-violet) which destroys bacteria in water ...,

To date, there are in thehexagon nearly 2,900,000 private pools with an increase of more than 175,000 new pools or swimming pools by the end of 2021, according to sales announced by manufacturers.

The term basin includes swimming pools and basinsexterior (Biotopes) intended for  lovers of these magnificent fish that are Koi carp. But this is only a tiny part of the usefulness of these UVs.

Who is concerned ????

  • Pool owners and de biotopes

  • The industry of boats de cruises

  • Pharmaceutical and food industry

  • Private Aeronautics

  • ...........etc

What is the use of it???

For many years Austria and Germany have been using UV (ultra-violet) rays as a means of disinfecting water. It has been proven that this treatment has a very broad spectrum of disinfection against viruses and pathogenic microorganisms(...Microorganism: virus, bacterium, fungus, protozoan, worm, etc. ... capable of creating a disease in other organisms, man or animals...)

For these reasons UV (ultra-violet) treatment is the only ecological way to have:

  • Pool water withoutbacteria, of appearance crystalline

  • Outdoor biotopes with fish, water without algae and invasive mud

  • The cruise ship industry treatment of drinking water tanks

  • The pharmaceutical and food industry  for process water (Tests and analyses)

  • Aeronautics for the treatment of drinking water tanks

How does   work?

It is important to specify that it is necessary to have clear water upstream, to obtain effective destruction of the bacteria and viruses present.

To put it simply, allMicroorganisms that have a:

  • DNA (Acid in the nucleus of living cells, essential constituent of chromosomes and carrier of genetic characteristics.)

              Or one

  • RNA (Ribonucleic acid is a nucleic acid present in practically all living beings, and also in certain viruses).

Are all sensitive to UV (ultra-violet) with more or less significant UV sensitivities.

The goal is to put the water in contact with UV rays by crossing a cylinder  where there is a set of lamps calibrated and adapted to the desired treatment.

This principle makes it possible to treat a volume of water in a closed circuit as well as drinking water supplied by the drinking water network of your municipality.

It is important to emphasize thatthe tubes used are subject to regulationsEuropean, only thedecree French 1 321-50 allows the use of certain UV lamps for water disinfection, destiny  for human consumption.
